"Smirking, he drew a finger across her neck.
She tried to face him, but she was wedged against the wall. She gulped down more water, but pulled the bottle away too soon. Droplets slid down her chin, wetting the front of her top.
“Are we nervous?” He swiped her chest with a napkin.
She grasped his wrist to halt his movement. “I think, under the circumstances, you should keep your hands to yourself.” Snagging the napkin, she dropped his hand, dried herself, and then hugged her arms to her chest.
He continued drinking until only ice cubes remained. He sucked one into his mouth and set the glass on the table. The tip of the ice cube slid out between his lips, a small slurp, and then a crunch as he chewed the ice.
She flexed her palm over her knee and kept her other hand around her bottle, barely stopping herself from crushing the plastic. How could she be so turned on by a man sucking and chewing on an ice cube?"
